Why MLD?

A very light touch with powerful results.

Your lymphatic system helps move fluid throughout the body. When it becomes sluggish, fluid can build up in the tissues, leaving you feeling swollen, heavy, tight, achy, or uncomfortable. MLD works with a completely different system of the body than traditional massage, which is why it can have such a meaningful impact across a variety of health concerns.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage uses a very light, rhythmic touch to encourage that fluid to move.

Lily has advanced training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, including specialized training in the Vodder method. Her experience includes post-operative and oncology care, as well as working with clients navigating chronic conditions, pain, and fatigue.

You may benefit from MLD if you're experiencing:

  • Heavy legs
  • Swelling & edema
  • Post-op recovery
  • Lymphedema
  • Migraines & headaches
  • Autoimmune conditions
  • Oncology support
  • Seasonal allergies

Every body tells a different story.

Many massage therapists follow a set routine for each client, working through a familiar sequence from session to session. Lily takes a more responsive approach, blending techniques depending on what your body needs that day. Lily may also recommend personalized self-care strategies to help extend the benefits between sessions.
